No. Starter and Growth are both pay-as-you-go — you can start free and only pay per ticket sold (Starter) or the monthly fee (Growth). Contracts only come into play at the Enterprise tier, where terms are negotiated per event portfolio.
Nothing breaks and nothing gets capped — you're simply charged the same per-ticket rate for the additional tickets. There's no overage penalty or forced upgrade mid-event.
